The practice of nāda yoga serves as a backdrop for contemplation on sound and silence. Through various voice techniques, we create a space for observing mental and emotional processes and this is the door to a better understanding of the role of sound and frequency as taught by incredible teachers and musicians that I am fortunate to learn from. In this understanding and through consistent practice, our relationship with ourselves and others is transformed and transmuted.
I offer fixed timetables, as well as private lessons that can be arranged according to the student's availability. Devotional Singing classes last 60 minutes and are adapted according to the student's practice experience. Classes are online or in person if you live in the Algarve and can travel to the practice space.
I began my journey into yoga in 2005.
In 2007, I started taking classes with Cátia Manuel and in 2008 with Miguel Homem, a teacher with whom I also began studying Vedānta.
In 2010 I finished the first training module with Pedro Kupfer, and I started teaching Yoga regularly in 2011 in Slovenia, where I lived for around 4 years.
After returning to Portugal, this time to the Algarve where I currently live, I continued studying Vedānta and taking classes in traditional Indian prayers and, later, Vedic chanting with Professor Paulo Abreu Vieira, also completing module II of Yoga instructor training with Pedro Kupfer in 2019.
I regularly teach private yoga classes and traditional Indian prayers in person and online, and I collaborate with the Arshavidya Center with online classes for the Center’s students and also on retreats.
I consider continuous study to be important, as well as being in contact with and learning from Teachers within the Vedic tradition.
In this sense, I am grateful for everything that the teachers and masters I have had the opportunity to learn from have taught me.
