What students say about the chanting classes

I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to learn devotional singing with Inês Ritto. It is certain and unquestionable that chanting brings us closer to the Divine. It also helps the mind to harmonize and be at peace. And Inês, with her powerful voice and her delicacy and patience in teaching, by showing us the nuances and details of Sanskrit and melodies, helps us to open the doors to this perfect and wonderful Universe and discover the Divine that dwells within us. Maria Alice Weitzel Student
I feel deeply grateful to teacher Inês for the beautiful, dedicated, patient and compassionate way in which she teaches devotional chanting. Chanting works on so many facets of us! Mental concentration, breathing, voice projection, confidence. Chanting also becomes a meditation, calming the mind. As a Yoga teacher, I can say that it enriches both my personal practice and the classes I teach. Chanting touches our hearts, connects us to the Whole, to the Intelligence that permeates the entire Universe, constantly reminding us of our true nature! I highly recommend the classes! Thank you for perpetuating this teaching tradition! Andrea Student
Inês is a wonderful human being and has the gift of singing. She helps me on my spiritual path, particularly in unblocking mental and emotional paths through encountering my voice. Voice represents transparency and expression of the being that I am. This often implies the presence and overcoming of challenges that show me that I can indeed have courage. Through honesty and loyalty to my values, I can have this courage and strength! Devotional chanting and Sanskrit are things that I am passionate about and Inês has an excellent candor, sweetness and ability to transmit teaching. She is very professional and has a very sacred place in my heart. Thanks. Harih om Silvana Student
